E Ink announced today (March 22) that it has launched a new generation of E Ink Gallery Plus fullcolor epapermodule. Its display color (Gamut) has a color space of up to 60,000 under ideal conditions. The color contrast has been improved by about 40%, and the contrast ratio has been increased from 10 to 14 in the previous generation.

E Ink Gallery Plus is mainly used in indoor commercial billboards in retail malls and restaurants public information display in public transportation fields such as subways and airports.

At present, E Ink Gallery Plus has been actually applied to the 28-inch   e-paper billboards and 25.3-inch 16:9 e-paper billboards in the digital advertising painted trains of Taipei MRT Corporation.

The E Ink Gallery Plus module is based on E Ink ACeP™ fullcolor electronic paper display technology. It uses four color electronic ink particles such as cyan, magenta, yellow, and white to dynamically combine and mix particles through voltage control to achieve display of full color Screen.

Using a new color e-paper driving waveform structure, the color display contrast of full color e paper is improved, the image is more threedimensional, and the dynamic color printing poster effect with more visual impact is provided.

E Ink Gallery Plus full-color electronic paper products will be available in 13.3-inch, 25.3-inch and 28-inch sizes for customers to choose from. For customers' existing E Ink Gallery products, Yuantai Technology will also carry out an update service to upgrade to E Ink Gallery Plus.

E Ink will cooperate with ecosystem partners to use the unique visual display effect of printed posters of E Ink Gallery fullcolor electronic paper to promote it to the fields of electronic billboards such as commercial advertisements and public displays, replacing singleuse printed posters and reducing environmental pollution or consumption of resources. At the same time, full-color e-paper billboards are not only eye friendly, but also have the lowcarbon, powersaving and environmentally friendly features of epaper, helping to promote sustainable smart city development.
